in the fields of commercial and fine are photography, including
advanced selection techniques and master printing philosophies. You
will be exploring content, sequencing and presentation of your digital
work.

Class Rules:
1) Don’t be late for class. This class starts on time. Slides, discussion, how to -This is the core of the class.
2) Negativity and sarcasm ruin the class. Constructive opinions are welcome. I am open to opinions that are thought out and expressed appropriately.
3) Always have your notebook, hard drives, materials you need for class.
4) Work consistently, don’t procrastinate. Things will go wrong.
5) Have fun, explore, share ideas, have an open mind, be respectful or others, work hard, shoot more.

ASSIGNMENT: Collage – meaning “to glue” in French– is an art form in which the artist gathers various items and glues them to the base of their choosing.
Next week: BRING Printed IMAGES AND PHOTO PAPER WE WILL BE MAKING A CONSTRUCTED IMAGE/COLLAGE
Glue scissors, x-acto, magazines, words, paint, colored pencils string, yarn, straight edge. Mat board, heavy paper. a base substrate. glue stick, staples, glaze, gel acrylic, anything you want to play with in this exploration, bring your camera, wood box, wood, If you have things to share with others in class bring that as well.

Assignment Overlay -2 images, one overlayed on to the other. Explore your blend modes and masking. Work fast, explore, create aesthetically pleasing images. You may need to make 30 to turn in 10. Print these 5x7 or larger. Make quality prints, good paper.
