in the fields of commercial and fine are photography, including
 advanced selection techniques and master printing philosophies. You
 will be exploring content, sequencing and presentation of your digital

Favorite photographer that is not Ansel Adams. Look one up if one does not come to mind. Tell me why you are drawn to the photographers work. Turn in by Monday January 30th, 8am for full credit.

Final Portfolio its never to early to start working on your final project.

Class Rules:

1) Don’t be late for class. This class starts on time. Slides, discussion, how to -this is the core of the class.
2) Negativity and sarcasm ruin the class. Constructive opinions are welcome, I am open to opinions that are thought out and expressed appropriately.
3) Always have your notebook, hard drives, materials you need for class.
4) Work consistently, don’t procrastinate. Things will go wrong.
5) Have fun, explore, share ideas, have an open mind, be respectful or others, work hard, shoot more.

This website info will help you complete the class successfully. Read and explore all other links for the week, before coming to class. This will keep you informed and move you forward in your exploration of digital photography and compositing. Information is added throughout the semester. Check back each week.

ASSIGNMENT: Collage – meaning “to glue” in French– is an art form in which the artist gathers various items and glues them to the base of their choosing.

Assignment – What was your favorite mistake? Bring in the image for week 7 we will talk about mistakes and how to repeat the ones we like.

Glue scissors, x-acto, magazines, words, paint, colored pencils string, yarn, straight edge. Mat board, heavy paper. a base substrate. glue stick, staples, glaze, gel acrylic, anything you want to play with in this exploration, bring your camera, wood Box, wood, If you have things to share with others in class bring that as well.

Start the process at home, make your collections, what do you want to express, what do you want to share with your viewer, what is your content?
