Step-by-Step Guide for Saving a DNG in ACR
Preset
At the top of the dialog box, select a preset if you’ve created one for saving specific file types or settings.
Destination
Choose where to save the file by selecting a folder in the
Destination
field.
File Naming
Use the
File Naming
section to rename the file. You can keep the original name or apply a custom naming convention.
Format
Select
Digital Negative (DNG)
as the file format from the dropdown menu.
Content Credentials
(Optional)
Configure content credentials to include metadata about the image's origin and editing history if required.
Color Space
Choose the desired color space (e.g., Adobe RGB, sRGB) for the saved DNG.
Image Size
Adjust the image size settings if you need to resize the file. Otherwise, leave it at the default for full resolution.
Final Steps:
Save
After setting all options, click
Save
to convert and save your raw file as a DNG.
