Choose the image you like best and size the image 800 pixels on the longest side for uploading. Don't worry I know we are just starting this class, no need to photoshop or crop anything, but some of you might have the skill to do a little editing of you image. that is OK, go for it. |

How to size an image in Photoshop 1st open the image in Photoshop Using the Mouse, Click, hold and drag the file you want to open to the photoshop icon Kelby Book Page 181 Resizing Digital Camera Photos 1) go to the Menu, - Image - Image Size 2) you want • Scale Styles • Constrain Proportions • Resample Image checked -ON 3) First Check you Resolution for online you want 72 pixels/inch 4) Next determine the longest side of your photo. mine is the horizontal. Change the Longest Side to 800 PPI. 5) Finally we want to SAVE AS, Always do a Save As when saving the files you resize, you are creating a NEW file, not over-writing the original file. THAT WOULD BE BAD>>> you would never be able to print the file at a larger size it would print all pixelated. Save As a .jpg file
