• Create a Self-Portrait. post to your angel profile and your flickr profile, then Attach the image to the angel dropbox. Tell us something about yourself with your image. Yes, you are uploading the same image in 3 different places. Angel Profile can be found by going to Preferences. clicking Personal Information. scroll down to Photo URL: upload by clicking, Add While in your preferences add your flickr address to your www. option.
Use any camera –dslr, point and shoot or your camera phone.
Use your self timer, find a reflection of yourself, have fun, shoot away. I know some of us think we look aweful in photographs. Oh well, you are the image maker, you are in control, make yourself awesome...

I like to give you inspiration and some techniques that you might find useful. Remember some of these links may be dead. I check the links at the beginning of the semester. sometimes links get pulled or they become a for pay title as time goes on. sorry, just move on to the next.

So after you have your shot, • Create a folder call it by the date and self portrait • Save your images to your computers hard drive.
Choose the image you like best and size the image 800 pixels on the longest side for uploading. Don't worry I know we are just starting this class, no need to photoshop or crop anything, but some of you might have the skill to do a little editing of you image. that is OK, go for it.

How to size an image in Photoshop 1st open the image in Photoshop Using the Mouse, Click, hold and drag the file you want to open to the photoshop icon or Open Photoshop and go to the Menu, - File - Open, navigate the hard drive to the file you want to open.
